The Hotel Cerro de Hijar is located in the Sierra de las Nieves National Park, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, recently this Park and the hotel have also joined the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism.

One hour from Malaga and 45 minutes from Marbella in the village of Tolox, it has incomparable views over the Guadalhorce Valley.

This unique hacienda has been restored giving it a pleasant atmosphere and taking special care of the details and is managed through sustainable processes, certified by Europarc.

The Hotel has 18 rooms: 12 double rooms, one of them specially equipped for disabled people, 6 junior suites and 1 suite, all of them equipped with air conditioning, television, mini-fridge, ceiling fan and all of them with balcony overlooking the National Park. In addition, all our rooms have a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities.

We have a large living room with fireplace; a central courtyard with running water fountain and tables; a covered pergola with the best views of the Hotel; a large garden planted with native species, a sunny swimming pool and parking reserved for guests of the Hotel.

We also have a private SPA with views that has a jacuzzi, steam sauna and rain shower, as well as the best views.

Our central courtyard typical Andalusian serves as relief , with the constant sound of water from its central fountain decorated with ceramic motifs Sevillian style , is the ideal location for our welcome cocktails , celebrating the wedding of your dreams or just relax with the sound of the place water .

Our meeting room is ideal for meetings because it has internet connection, computer or projector for video, conferencing portfolios and air conditioning, also serve coffee breaks.

The Hotel Cerro de Hijar is in Tolox, this is one of nine towns in Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park, between the rivers “Horcajos” and “Caballos” which converge together forming the Guadalhorce River, further down the valley, the biggest river of Málaga province.

Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park has been declared a “BiosphereReserve” by UNESCO not Only for its natural values but for theethnographical richness also. Nowadays both the Park and the Hotel Cerro de Hijar have been recognised by the European Chapter of Sustainable Tourism and are carrying out ecofriendly managing strategies in order to reduce the ecological impact of the tourist activity, wich have being certified by Europarc.
